Hot summer maternity

Maternity shoots on hot summer days can be exhausting.  Risking chiggers, dodging rattlesnakes and fighting off mosquitos can be a challenge.  At the ranch we saw lots of wildlife and a huge pack of coyotes.  I loved shooting there and excited to go again.

"Me and the Bears" photo shoot.  I only do these for newborns.  I'm working on a collection of bears with personality.  What could possibly be cuter than this?

Such a sleepy little guy who just wanted to keep fighting his sleep.

Tiny Ballerina

My tiny little ballerina is just so sweet in her little pink tutu. I hope to follow her with my camera all the way through toe shoes.

Cool water is so needed in the summer heat!

Maternity sessions in the middle of the smoldering summer heat isn't pleasant for the mom's but they are beautiful. Must mom's are happy to suffer through the session to enjoy the gorgeous images for a lifetime.

Little Missy is just gorgeous. She and her older sister have the facial features of my favorite doll, Madam Alexander. And she was already spoiled to wanting to be held at only 9 days old.
